Let me begin with the simple truths of Character Creation. And lo, there were but three…

One : Every single thing a PC takes, from feats to class selections to ability points and skill choices must be IC and have an RP reason behind it.

Two : You MUST have a description for the PC. This is first and foremost a Roleplay server and to react to "what we see" its important for you to tell us.

It needn't be a long, two-page discourse on the history of the PC. Especially since there is such a high casualty-rate on a Survival server. Just a simple "You see a blue-eyed human with long blonde hair. She seems to be somewhat young" is fine. Typing "RP for more" is not acceptible.

As an incentive, DMs will be awarding special badges and XP to all characters with a descriptive "bio". It is REQUIRED that you describe your PC's appearance. If you forget during character creation, you may e-mail or MSN a brief description to DeadLegendsDMs@hotmail.com and we will LETO it in for you.

Three : We have a few guidelines about classes as well. The soft-cap for leveling is 9. There are rewards for maintaining straight-class builds (RP Builds over Powerbuilds rule on DL) all the way through to 9th Level, however you may multi-class or take Prestige Classes assuming you follow these guidelines :

a. A PC must take at LEAST three levels in any given class.

b. A monk may not multi-class unless specifically allowed by his/her Order. Please consult the website for details.

c. A PC may never have more than ONE PrC (PrC = Prestige Class). PrCs require a significant amount of time and dedication to acquire.
